Starting from the clinical case considerations and suggestions are offered using the narrative approach. Attention is drawn to the importance of relations especially those of the people part of the family mythology such as the unborn twin. Concerning abuse, reference is made to dissociative defenses and to behavioral and clinical implications. The therapeutic process is presented as the reconstruction of a more functional narrative reality to identity needs of the patient.
