Enzo Collotti examines some recent studies of German universities under nazism, that display new directions and dimensions. They have moved beyond general and essentially descriptive reconstructions, adopting analytical and problematic approaches that follow the general progress of researches on the nazi regime, that now privilege ever more detailed analyses. The issue closes with two groups of short reviews: the first, edited by Simonetta Soldani, consists of recent studies of the school in Italy; the second, edited by Nino De Amicis, recent studies of the history of trade unions in Italy.
