Holding the market. That is playing with economy to understand how defend ourselves - Recently, new forms of economic cooperations based on self-organization, consumer empowerment and participation are emerging: fair trade, open source software, micro-credit, critical consumption, and many others. This paper is twofolded; first, we argue that such experiences constitute a radical change in how the market shapes the socio-economic relations and the power equilibrium in the market.
