"Going quietly into the night". Discussing with Mike Davis about Obama, the crisis, the borders - Mike Davis is one of the most original urban sociologist in Usa. Starting with City of Quartz (1990), a description of Los Angeles as a disutopy in the urban history, he developed a set of contributions whose focus is the transformation in contemporaries metropolis and the role of migrants in the urban life in term of movement and conflict. The present essay is an interview with Mike Davis about borders, crisis and new policy options opened in the Obama era.
