In this article, a clinical approach in Child Neuropsychiatry Agencies is presented. Such an approach is the result of the fusion between the SAT by Klagsbrun e Bowlby and the Invariant Method by Selvini Palazzoli and Prata: the parents are requested to perform in their real family life - as in the Invariant Method - the situations in the picture presented to the child in the SAT. The SAT and the Invariant Method are different as for the underpinning theories, paradigms and aims - but both focus on separation. In the contexts where the approach is mainly based on the separation between the parents and their disturbed child, this format can be maintained also in a systemic perspective, merging the SAT and the Invariant Method both in the assessment and in therapeutic intervention as well. The technique is discussed through two clinical vignettes. Key words: child psychiatry, SAT, new method, systemic approach, attachment theory, obsessive-compulsive disorder

Keywords: Neuropsichiatria infantile, SAT, Nuovo Metodo, visione sistemica, attaccamento, disturbo ossessivo-compulsivo.
