Evaluation and Public Administration: how partecipation contribute to decision making - Evaluation can contribute to public decision-making processes. In particular a participatory strategy lets come out stakeholder’s points of view, needs, expectations and issues. But participation’s process needs to be followed and methodologically verified step by step: it’s not a strategy risk-free. In the first part of the article are shown steps and characteristics of evaluation’s introduction in Italian Public Administration. In the second part are described the reasons and the dimensions of participatory evaluation, stressing about its utility for policies and for decisionmaking.
