The authors address the theme of the poetry of the body, giving the title at the IIBA International Congress. They dwell on the scientific but also poetic appearance of the psychotherapy, on how this poem is declined in relation to each other and with the possibility of the patient and the therapist to have a reciprocal impact. Virginia Wink focuses on the theme of grace, which was so dear to Lowen, while Patrizia Moselli with Maria Ludovica Cortese remind us that the most difficult poetry we can write with our bodies is the understanding and acceptance of old age and the most painful phases of life. «Only through the different phases of our existence we discover a multitude of meanings. And ‘when even the more severe disease can become a profound path of growth and change, we discover an even deeper poetry of the body and life».
