In this paper the Author describes the beginning and the symptoms of reactive depression in adolescence. He outlines the main conditions which conduct to depression, as important family members losses, school and sentimental failures, hostile couple divorces and negative triangolations for children in adolescence. Some clinical examples follow in order to show the usefulness of family therapy for depressed adolescents and families in crisis.
