According to the authors of our founding text (Perls, Hefferline e Goodman, 1951), dreaming is a creative act of the self, which - through the pre-verbal language of images - shows certain unfinished situations and their push for closure. The dream is a basic source for therapeutic process, since it represents a "via regia" to the understanding of relevant modalities of contact of the client and a powerful tool to reach a better integration of his/her experiences. Besides the "classical" methods to work on dreams presented by F. Perls and I. From, there exists another gestalt method of dream work which is based on the concentration technique. This method is mentioned in the basic texts of our approach, but it seems it has fallen into oblivion. This article aims to bring back to our attention this technique of concentration dream work.
