The author, mayor of a city that have the duty to reconvert the biggest area in Europe, says that city administration, when engaged in a so heavy trouble, must consider the city history and, on the other hand, confide the people and administration be able to front a task seen as difficult and almost impossible. The same thing was when, at the beginning of the past century and the industrialization, when the factories were threatened by Nazis and when, after second world war, the city was to rebuild.
