The half-way region as epistemological paradigm in psychoanalysis. Psychoanalysis deals specifically with "intermediate processes". Freud calls that area "das Zwischenreich", the middle land, the "something between": the in-between, or the half-way region in the English translations. It can be said that what might be called "the intermediate paradigm" is absolutely central to psychoanalysis. This work shows the "intermediate paradigm" from the perspective of the theory of the analytic field, its declination, in the opinion of the author, most recently, coherent and radical. The author also addresses issues related to the analysis of the subject and the parameter symmetry/asymmetry in the therapeutic relationship.
