This paper analyzes the contribution of Psychology of Liberation to actual psychological science, and its contribution to Psychology of Liberation. Specifically, the paper addresses several issues. The first is constituted by epistemological questions, related to the need for an explicit choice, as well as to the legitimacy of different epistemological approaches within psychology discipline. The second issue is about method, it is stressed the importance of a multi-method approach. Finally, ethics, considered not only as an individual responsibility, but also as an ethic of community and a liberating ethic have been addressed. In conclusion, the importance of a critical and complex approach to psychological issues has been highlighted.
