This essay reviews the main labour law measures adopted by the Greek Parliament since 2010 in order to address the sever economic crisis that has affected the country, but also as a response to the recommendations deriving from the International Monetary Fund, the European Central Bank, and the European Commission. In particular, the essay considers those measure adopted with a view to reducing labour costs, especially in the public sector, render more flexible - both in terms of hiring and in terms of firing - the use of the domestic labour force, and those measures adopted to reshape the framework of collective labour relations.
