The author discusses the theoretical steps that accompanied Harrison in the creation of a model of therapeutic action based on the epistemology of complexity. The author highlights the theoretical evolution that led Harrison to create a model of therapeutic action in the therapy of children starting from the work of the BCSG. She then suggests the necessity of a constitutive reference for the subject as necessary condition for stating that change is the outcome of an interactive creation. The author also proposes that the subject’s constitution be based on the concepts of SOC and context in the case histories presented by Harrison and presents a sandwich model for clinical work with adults.
