sources, aims at identifying the main characteristics of the Polesine amusement district, part of the bigger Veneto amusement district, and to describe and understand the main development trajectories that have characterized the district; challenges posed by recent economic and demographic trends, internationalization and the need of innovation in order to compete. To sum up the picture that emerges from this research, the article presents some brief remarks about possible policy implications.
