What answers can national constitutionalism offer to a globalised society where private social systems claim the status of constitutional actors? How can this expansionism of autonomous private systems be reconciled to fundamental rights? Gunther Teubner discusses these and other issues, trying not to put together the various fragments, but to provide an overview that takes all these conflicts into account.
Keywords: Social constitutionalism - Globalization - Reflexive law - Human rights
