The paper presents the connection between femininity, unexplored continent of Freud, and the structure of hysterical neurosis, through the Lacan’s texts what revisited the Oedipus complex and Freudian trauma, leading to a new concept of femininity. The language makes the trauma, and the absence of meaning that can define a woman, leaving each one the possibility of the invention on the aspect beyond the phallus that concerns her. Otherwise, the hysteria constantly looking in the other woman an answer to this question that places her identified by the desire and not to the object of desire for a man.
