The article presents the experience of a psychologist-psychoanalyst at the historic Italian industry "Olivetti". In Olivetti, inside the factory, was also present a psychological culture. The author recalls a search, also conducted by Cesare Musatti, where was challenged the technical and chronometric setting of the work time, and instead promoted the attention to the inner self of the worker. The author highlights that every individuality is always on a collective background.
