In this interview Susan Goodman, psychologist daughter of Paul Goodman, draws a very personal picture of her relationship with her father, his ideas and his legacy, both inside and outside of Gestalt therapy. She provides us with a fascinating, first-hand insight into the cultural, social and political life in the US of the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s to which the Goodman family substantially contributed. This intimate portrait of Goodman and his time gives us the opportunity to reassess some of the stereotypes about Paul Goodman.
