In Italy the presence of unaccompanied minors has risen considerably. The majority come from countries at war, conflict, poverty, natural disasters, discrimination, persecution and exploitation. EU Member States are security zones through some financial programs, such as the SPRAR (Protection System for asylum seekers and refugees), the Fund for the reception of unaccompanied minors and the "Action Plan unaccompanied Minors" (2010-2014). It ‘must, however, a renewal of policies and programs to protect the best interests of foreign minors, either by creating reception services, continuing to promote the development of systems for protecting children connect with each other the necessary facilities in all social sectors.
