This essay examines Nicolaus Cusanus’ idea of God’s Vision. It is represented as a mirror’s blinding light. This image has presented and still presents great obstacles to comprehension, inducing numerous interpreters to assert that Nicolaus’ thought wavered between mysticism and scepticism.
Keywords: God’s Image, theology of light, life of God, mirror image, visible and invisible
