This paper establishes a link between the Grimké sisters’ thought, set in the Protestant tradition, and other figures’ view, able to provide a deep and original analysis about the relationship between the sexes, with reference to the Bible’s interpretation - such as Katharine Zell. The paper aims also at showing the relevance of those views, even in the present days.
