Aim of the Research: Evaluate the outcomes of psychotherapy in a Public Clinical Service. Methodology: The study initially involved 132 patients of the Clinical Psychology Service in Ferrara. These patients were evaluated, before starting psychotherapy, using a client self-reporting questionnaire, the CORE-OM (Clinical Outcome in Routine Evaluation - Outcome Measure). This tool was used to evaluate the outcomes of psychotherapy in the areas of Well-being, Problems, Functioning and Risk, and took into consideration the Total score with all the items and the Total score without Risk. The 45 patients who completed their psychotherapy were retested using again CORE-OM. Results: From the beginning to the end of the psychotherapeutic treatment, the main scores in all areas and the total results dropped significantly: 84,9% of the patients reported a significant clinical improvement and 57,6% recovery. Conclusion: Psychotherapy in a Public Clinical Psychology Service is effective. The research results are in line with those published in literature.
