It is described the longitudinal study of development in psychotherapy trainees conducted by the Society for Psychotherapy Research Interest Section on Therapist Training and Development (SPRISTAD). The study aims to track progressive changes over time in trainees, and to identify influences that facilitate or impede trainee development. Systematic information are gathered on the characteristics of trainees and training programs, focusing particularly on trainees’ experiences in clinical practice and supervision.
