The Organizational Development practices, started in our country since the mid-1970s, followed a double track for many years: a "classic" approach according to the "American O.D. school", enriched by the sociotechnical approach, and an approach that added to the practic-es of the classical choice, a particular attention to the deep, unconscious reality and of the briefer and client human systems. This parallel path, which also had results, sometimes, of happy hybridization, in the last two decades has contracted to almost disappear. The present contribution analyzes this experience, by highlighting the fundamental characteristics of the two approaches to O.D. practices and the risks of a clinical approach crisis.
