This interview, which took place on April the 17 2020 via Skype, was strongly wanted by the editorial staff to shed a light on the reality of the Psychiatric Services during the Covid-19 pandemic. The Director of ASL RM1 Department of Mental Health has kindly agreed to share with us, in real time, what these long days of pandemic have meant about cohabitation, availability and use of PPE, hospitalizations and home visits. He also shared a final discussion on collective trauma, operators’ resilience and on the attribution of meaning by the community. The author specifies that the interview’s colloquial language reflects the complete transcription of what was verbally discussed, without any written content.

Keywords: Mental health during pandemic; social distance; relationship and mental health; collective trauma.
