The dynamic of abusive relationships will be illustrated following the phenomenological approach ensued from the clinic work with women victims of domestic violence who turned to anti-violence centers. Their gaze will be followed as well as their self-narration in connection with the abuser, from the moment an unexpected event forced them to applied themselves vic-tims of violence, to the emancipation from violence itself.
