The explosion of the health emergency due to the Covid-19 pandemic has made this afterword necessary exactly when the report on Romano di Lombardia was to be concluded. The ambition is not to balance out or to outline probable (or improbable) evolutionary scenarios of cities in the aftermath of the pandemic. The aim is, instead, to think (in the form of work notes, still from within the health emergency) about the endurance of the ideas that, in a condition of ‘normality’, have fueled the production of plans and projects for the territory of Romano di Lombardia and, potentially, about the need to refocus them in the light of the pandemic phenomenon.
