The scenario of this research consists of some municipalities located in the southern area of Padua, commonly called "Bassa Padovana". A liminal territory cut out in the interstices between urban areas and transit routes, between the hinterland and the sea. An area not really fragile but mostly "unseen" and partly forgotten. Our initial objective was to co-construct a generative map of that community people together with the local inhabitants, in view of a fu-ture development plan in terms of increasing the touristic attractiveness of the area. However, if carrying out this project during the lockdown has represented a complex challenge, this new scenario has led our analysis to an unexpected turning point, allowing the identification of specific challenges that could affect in a positive way this area in the coming years. The research has therefore shifted on making the community aware of its own potentials, in terms of ability to networking and in the frame outlined in the recent "Manifesto per riabitare l’Italia".
