For some time now, scientific and institutional circles have been aware of the unequal distribution of the "health dimension", measured by indicators and indices of a socio-anthropological or "health" nature, among and within different countries. For the "promotion of health" it becomes therefore strategic to acquire complete and consistent data on "health determinants". To this end, SDO cards are indispensable because, having a "census" nature, they would allow monitoring of a casuistry that increases in heterogeneity, also as a consequence of the diversification of the migratory flow. On the other hand, there are general quantitative (completeness) and qualitative (congruence) deficiencies, precisely in the case of the most relevant "health determinants": level of education, marital status and profession of patients. The situation can only be improved by means of appropriate awareness-raising and training of health workers.
Keywords: Health; migrants; hospital discharge forms; women; education; indicators.
