Once basically proportionate to the length of the journey and stable over time, air transport fares are now governed by more and more complex mechanisms. When entering the free market, the first private air carriers tried to increase their market share through very aggressive pricing policies, among these dynamic pricing, which is the technique of establishing the rate of transport through completely fluid rules. In this way, the amount of money required for the same flight can change continuously. This technique raises several legal issues. First, the transparency in the determination of air transport fares; second the fairness of commercial practices carried out by big companies towards consumers; third, the problem of the limits set out by the EU legal framework on the use of data collected by air carriers
