A sustainable and fair future for children and youth requires a commitment to an education that welcomes and respects everyone in their school careers. Inclusive education, understood as a right, is recognizing the diversity of identities that leads us to the elimination of any form of exclusion. From this perspective, incorporating the UDL framework in education is an urgent challenge. A strategic contribution to this perspective of inclusion also comes from scientific and technological advances: from the results in the study of the nervous system arises the need to address its plasticity and the repercussions that this has on inclusive educational practices, and the evidence that a competent use of technologies offers an opportunity to promote teaching strategies for the benefit of all, without exceptions. The article proposes to feed a multidimensional reflection on the inclusive education approach, addressing both the sociopolitical and cultural principles and values, as well as the perspectives of pedagogical-curricular design and the technological tools that today can represent strategic resources.
