Is the mystical experience a feminine one? This question arises because we notice that many women had and have such an experience. In this paper I describe the phenomeno¬logical approach proposed by two women philosophers, Edith Stein and Gerda Walther, in order to explain the sense of mystics. Through the phenomenological method and due to their feminine attitude in philosophy they succeeded in analyzing in a keen way this kind of experience, digging into the human being and discovering how the profound contact with the divine can happen.
