The authors present an explorative research and a clinical reflection by comparing two time-limited homogeneous groups with young adults: one was face to face in private practice and the other was online mode within the Centro Ateneo dei Servizi Clinici Universitari Psicologici (SCUP) of the University of Padua. Starting from the data collected with the Group Questionnaire (Krogel et al., 2013), some reflections on the development of the therapeutic process face to face and online are presented by comparing the Positive Bonding and the Negative relationship. The clinical material presented attempts to explore the differences and understand the dynamics of the group in the two different sets.
