L’articolo esamina gli effetti sociali della trasformazione verde, e in particolare le transizioni del mercato del lavoro, gli effetti distributivi delle politiche climatiche e l’equo accesso alle tec-nologie a basse emissioni di carbonio. L’attenzione si concentra principalmente sui cambia-menti del mercato del lavoro e sulle politiche e le risposte per gestirli. Dal punto di vista meto-dologico, la spina dorsale dell’analisi è rappresentata dall’analisi della letteratura accademica e dei documenti politici, integrata da esempi di casi e pratiche basati su diversi anni di ricerca in materia di just transition. La sezione 1 fornisce una panoramica degli effetti occupazionali dell’economia verde, comprese le transizioni occupazionali e le mutate esigenze di competenze. La sezione 2 riflette criticamente sul concetto e sulle pratiche esistenti di just transition e ana-lizza come queste facilitino il mercato del lavoro a livello nazionale, regionale e aziendale. La sezione 3 si concentra sul settore automobilistico, con riferimenti a casi di sfide del mercato del lavoro e pratiche a livello aziendale. La sezione 4 chiude l’articolo con alcune raccomandazioni politiche.
