This paper intends to illustrate how therapist and patient, within the hyp-notic process, are linked by a mutually modifying relationship. A communica-tive interaction composed of a series of stimuli that go beyond the sphere of digital language, the verbal one, and invest, at the same time, the analogical, para-verbal, and non-verbal levels, proceeding, beyond the sphere of aware-ness, by assonances dissonances, and resonances. This relational choreogra-phy is generated between the agents of the interaction through the integration of formal and procedural elements. These elements, situational and contingent, while maintaining their specific characteristics, refer, metaphorically, to fur-ther and different meanings that can be used in a therapeutic key. The clinical use of the elements that characterize the aesthetics of the ericksonian tech-nique in hypnotic therapeutic practice will be dealt with in depth in the third and last contribution relating to this theme.
Keywords: hypnotic process, interaction, communication, metaphor, dissocia-tion, integration.
