External signals converted into electrical impulses are integrated into the brain nerve centers on specific waves oscillation frequencies. They become symbolic representations that the mind compares with the frequencies transmitted by previ-ous experiences. The symbols, including the words and their meaning are conveyed by the wave complex that transmits incoming information. The thought it-self in synchrony with the wave complex can transfer its contents to the brain. The meaning attributed to the symbols/images, the sensations and expectations join the phenomena.

Keywords: hypnosis, suggestion, placebo, nocebo, mind, thought, symbol.
