This study presents a systematic review of the literature aimed at answering the following research question: what have been the determinants of inequalities in access to healthcare services during the Covid-19 pandemic in urban and subur-ban areas? To this end, twenty-eight contributions from the Scopus database were extracted, and their contents were examined using the grounded theory method. The findings revealed four main themes: socio-economic determinants, cultural determinants, spatial and infrastructural determinants, and demographic determinants. These results enabled a discussion of the political and institutional implications that can be translated into projects designed to minimize the spread of these inequalities.
Keywords: access; healthcare; urban; cities; covid.
