QUADERNI DI GESTALT

Gestalt Therapy Journal - Rivista semestrale di Psicoterapia della Gestalt

2 issues per year, ISSNe 2035-6994

Quaderni di Gestalt has been the Italian journal of Gestalt Psychotherapy since 1985. It is edited by the post-graduate School of Psychotherapy of the Istituto di Gestalt HCC, accredited according to Italian law by the Minister for Universities. The journal gives voice to the ongoing dialogue between the Institute and the Italian and international community of psychotherapists, as well as to the evolution of contemporary theoretical and clinical models. Some of the published articles have been translated. Consistent with the Gestalt psychotherapy method, the journal reflects the spirit of a teaching/learning community by collecting contributions based on different approaches, in the belief that an exchange of different ideas is the best form of science and the best way to define its own boundaried identity. The journal, which takes Gestalt psychotherapy to be based on aesthetic values as an ethic of therapeutic relationship and on the processes of creative adjustment as a principle of health, strives to keep science relevant to everyday life and research relevant to clinical problems. It’s aimed at psychotherapists and professionals involved in therapeutic relationships.
