In the activities of counseling, vocational guidance, evaluation of competences, the psychologist is divided between the use of scientific methods which impose knowledge to the human subject and the use of listening which assumes that the subject already knows something on himself and wishes to express it better. We refer to the model of the hold by scientific analysis in order to enlighten the possible forms of interaction originating from psychological methods. From the questionnaire which takes existing information, we pass on to the questions which induce for the subject an analysis activity, with a focalized self attention. The results are a new conception of the use of scientific methods and a new definition of the psychologist’s activity and role. 004 Keywords: interview, test feedback, Barnum effect, bias, working alliance.
