After a brief discussion on the public communication discusses the results of the quantitative analysis carried out on the street televisions born in Italy within the Telestreet project, and the case studies of some telestreet experiences in Naples and Barcelona. Then the article suggests the use of a medium, as the street television, in the public communication field might offer many opportunities for citizens in creating new places for debates.
