Aia, Agricola Italiana Alimentare, is one of the leading European companies in the field of fresh meat. The Veronesi family started this line of work in the establishment of S. Martino Buon Albergo (VR). Over the years, the enterprise has progressively assumed a modern and complex organization. In December 1970, the history of collective bargaining began in this company and is still ongoing. This article intends to analyze the most interesting developments of the collective bargaining in the Aia Group by highlighting the management of shifts, duties and supervision, working hours, holidays and rest breaks etc., as well as issues related to improving the quality of work in terms of safety or other services, e.g. the canteen as well as encompassing aspects related to wages, such as bargaining acquisitive in terms of compensation and finally the current performance bonus.
