This study is based on the textual analysis of the transcripts of a cycle of analytical psychodrama interviews with a group of psychiatric adolescents; the subjects are all peers in terms of age, psychosocial dysfunctions and therapeutic projects. A qualitative analysis was made through ATLAS.ti, with a specific focus on the patients’ verbalizations and their true meaning, and on intra-session micro-analytic transactions. This analysis is based on a bottom-up viewpoint aimed to the construction of a form of analysis that can be adapted and used for further researches. The starting points were the project therapeutic targets used to establish macro groups which allowed for an accurate text analysis by assigning codes summarizing the verbalized interpretation of the significance of the 12 sessions. Data pointed out relevant issues about the therapeutic process, connected with aspects both primarily involved in the patients’ psychiatric disorder and gathered in the specific developmental stage they are experiencing. Authors affirm the exploratory dimension of their research, pointing out that the obtained macro groups and code forms could be used for text analysis in future researches.
