The article presents the main results of an ethical and bioethical research that was conducted by the team of Applied Ethics of the Department of Pure and Applied Sciences at the University of Urbino from 2012 to 2015. This research was devoted to the study of caring relationships between adults and children suffering from incurable diseases of neurological and genetic character, their family caregivers and healthcare professionals (nurses and doctors) who work in the Primary Care. The research was carried out at home and investigated the methods of everyday disease management and treatment and care decisions more difficult in the face of the acute situations.
