The author has constantly emphasized institutional analysis as an object of study and intervention. In this work Di Marco illustrates the use of the method of institutional observation for teaching purposes to promote knowledge of its dynamics. The exercise of institutional observation, for the author, represents a more genuine way of discovering not only dysfuncionalities, but also new spaces for planning.
