The contribution develops a methodology centred on the definition of the cultural heritage exposed to risk, shifting the focus from the analysis of single danger factors and single architectural emergencies, to the cognitive investigation of portions or territorial contexts, within which the relational plot of heritage assets is developed, as in the original intentions of Giovanni Urbani, at the time of the drafting of the Pilot Plan for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage in Umbria, in 1976.

Keywords: cultural heritage; risk; Risk map; multi-risk analysis; landscape planning.
