Youth migration from rural areas is a central topic in scientific debate and public policies, as many young people leave their hometowns due to opportunities mismatch. The contribution analyzes ARCO, an Erasmus+ project that aimed at reactivating young people in rural areas through the community manager methodology. The young participants gained skills in local development and participation, highlighting the importance of involving the community and youth in local development policies.
