Le aree urbane marginali, già soggette a una distribuzione ineguale di infrastrutture di welfare e opportunità socioeconomiche, sono state duramente colpite dalla diffusione del Covid-19.A partire da una prospettiva di giustizia spaziale, l’articolo guarda a Milano e Rio de Janeiro, due città molto diverse eppure simili per quanto riguarda alcuni aspetti della marginalità urbana, concentrandosi sugli impatti della pandemia e le risposte delle mobilitazioni dal basso delle azioni collettive nei quartieri più poveri.In conclusione, si tracciano alcuni apprendimenti da questi casi.
