The author aims at deepen if and how the new landscape plans, following the innovations of the Italian Cultural Heritage and Landscape Code, are moving towards being more efficient than the landscape plans of the Galasso generation. This possible result is investigated on a sample of three plans, witnessing the extreme variety of the present situation, with reference to some relevant aspects of the discipline set up: cooperative planning, regulations cogency, guidelines, strategic projects.

Keywords: Landscape plans, discipline, cooperative planning, regulations, guidelines, strategic projects.
