Literature argues that therapeutic interventions for children with DBD which include the involvement of parents were generally more effective than those in where only the child was involved. The main purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of the Parent Training contained in the Coping Power Program, cognitive-behavioral intervention matrix, manualized and focused on specific targets compared in relation to a model of cognitive behavioral intervention matrix not manualized and not focused on specific goals, in the modification of specific styles of parenting. A second aim is to assess the predictive power that some variables of parenting can have on changing the aggressive behavior of children. In particular, effects are observed more of the CPP on the variables Positive Parenting and Inconsistent Discipline. In addition, it was observed that only the Inconsistent Discipline influenced the aggressive behavior of the child.
